Inoue Mina
1895 - 1995


Born in Saga Prefecture, she graduated from Japan Women's University in 1916

Following graduation, she studied Chikushi-style koto from Noda Sōshō of Imari, Saga Prefecture.

In 1954, the written scores, transmission scroll, and performance tape of the pieces, were preserved as an Intangible Cultural Asset by the Ministry of Education.

She was the last living Chikushi-style koto music inheritor and also served as a mediator for the Osaka Family Court.
